We will be attending Baiting Hollow Scout Camp
, located on the North Shore of Long Island, the camp has a freshwater lake and access to a beachfront on Long Island Sound.
Camp is from July 30-August 5, 2017. We leave on Sunday and come back on Saturday.
$390 (if paid in full by May 1st) or $415 if paid after.
The fee for adults is $85. All payments should be
made to the Treasurer
or Mrs. Hancock. No Scout will be turned away for financial

We are asking for a minimum $50 deposit so we can estimate the number
of scouts attending. (Your rebate can serve as a deposit.) Deposits can
be made beginning March 28th.
Credits earned by Scouts from the Wreath & Poinsettia and
Applebee’s fundraisers will be applied to the payments. An email with
each scouts individual credits will go out by April 10th.
$50 per camper is non-refundable.
100% of the remainder is refundable if requested in writing before June 1st.

Permission slips must be handed in to the Outdoor coordinator or Camp Director by July 14th.

scouts will be given a schedule of merit badges to choose from. Forms
will be handed out at the CoH. All choices need to be made by June 14th.
The PLC has prizes for the best costume each night as well as a few other surprises planned.
Use the camping equipment checklist (personal) with these additions and reminders:
the duffel bag with a garbage bag bore packing to ensure dry contents
in case of rain. Some folks individually bag each days clothes to keep
them clean and dry.
- Baby powder or Gold Bond powder is great for eliminating chafing.
- Bring a Mess kit (sturdy plate, cup, knife, fork spoon, hot cup)
- A wire hanger is great for hanging up the Class A uniform at night.
prescription medicine must be in its original bottle with current
prescription and expect amount needed for camp in a Zip-Loc Bag with
the Scouts name written on the bag. Epi-Pens and inhalers may be kept
by the scout.
The final version will be emailed
just before the boys leave for camp. Teh phone Tree will only be used
for emergency or to announce return from camp, and will only be
initiated by the Scoutmaster or Camp Director.
