Camp Themes

The PLC has prizes for the best costume each night as well as a few other surprises planned.

Use the camping equipment checklist (personal) with these additions and reminders:

  • Line the duffel bag with a garbage bag bore packing to ensure dry contents in case of rain. Some folks individually bag each days clothes to keep them clean and dry.
  • Baby powder or Gold Bond powder is great for eliminating chafing.
  • Bring a Mess kit (sturdy plate, cup, knife, fork spoon, hot cup)
  • A wire hanger is great for hanging up the Class A uniform at night.

Any prescription medicine must be in its original bottle with current prescription and expect amount needed for camp in a Zip-Loc Bag with the Scouts name written on the bag. Epi-Pens and inhalers may be kept by the scout.

Phone Tree

The final version will be emailed just before the boys leave for camp. The phone Tree will only be used for emergency or to announce return from camp, and will only be initiated by the Scoutmaster or Camp Director.
