We are a boy-led troop, offering a Scouting program with emphasis on camping and outdoor skills. Our Scouts actively practice the leadership skills they'll use as adults.  All boys age 11 to 17, in grades 6 or higher, are welcome to join us or to visit a meeting.   Please contact our Committee Chairman or Scoutmaster to arrange your visit to a meeting - we believe you'll become one of our newest members.

News You Can Use:

  • 12/7- This is the final day to sign up for the December campout.  Please have your son bring cash to the meeting.
  • Next camping trip is 12/11-12/12 @ Sturges in Ridgefield. Meet at the Shanty at 8am. Pick up will be at 10am at Sturges. *Use Kimberly Court in your GPS. Once you arrive at Kimberly Court continue straight into cud-de-sac and through the gate. 
  • December 21st- Our annual Troop holiday party, the PLC will be sending out all the information.  This is also the registration deadline date the January campout.
  • January 7-9 This campout will be our traditional cabin planning campout held at Camp Mattatuck. Registration for this campout is due by 12/21- NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Going forward, we are going to be using TroopMaster for campout registration/permission slips. To access TroopMaster, go to https://tmweb.troopmaster.com/Website/Home
  • Beginning on Monday, January 28, 2019, after-school access to the middle and high school will be restricted to the main entrance of the high school. All other exterior doors, including those used to enter the gym and cafeteria lobby, will be locked.
  • When a weekly scout meeting calls for "Uniform: Class B", All scouts are expected to wear the appropriate Class B uniform with no exceptions. This will be strictly enforced going forward.  A Class B uniform consists of a scouting tee-shirt or other troop or camp shirt and Scout pants or shorts. Uniforms can be purchased from the official on line store or a local store
  • The Troop Controlled Substance Policy is now available
