We will be attending Week 4 of Camp Aquehona Summer Camp (link https://www.tenmileriver.org/aq), located in Narrowsburg, NY, which is on the east shore of the Delaware River, between the Catskill Mountains and the Pocono Mountains. The camp is on the shore of Half Moon Lake, and has a swimming pool.
Camp is from July 29-August 4, 2018. We leave on Sunday and come back on Saturday.
Cost:
$435 (if paid in full by May 1st) with a deadline to commit to camp by
May 1st. The fee for adults is $90 for the full week, $45 for a
partial week. All payments should be made to the Treasurer (treasurer
Credits earned by Scouts from
the Wreath & Poinsettia and Applebee’s fundraisers will be applied
to the payments. An email with each scouts individual credits will go
out by April 10th.
Parent
& Scout camp meeting will be on Wednesday, July 11, 7pm, at the
Summer Camp Coordinator’s home, and will last approximately 1 hour. Please see emails for address, or Contact the Summer Camp Coordinator for the address. It is imperative that first time parents attend. It is helpful when experienced parents attend to offer advice and information. Scouts are welcome.

Permission slips must be handed in to the Outdoor coordinator or Camp Director by July 11th.
Completed medical forms are required for camp- scouts cannot attend without completed forms. Forms
should be forwarded to the Troop Medical Records Coordinator as soon as

Merit badge class options and schedule are given at the camp website (link https://www.tenmileriver.org/files/5225/2018-Aquehonga-Merit-Badge-Schedule). All choices need to be emailed to the Summer Camp Coordinator as soon as possible, no later than July 11, so that the scout can be registered for the class. Not all MB's can be completed in one week and many require work in advance. Please read the workbooks carefully, they can be found online.

Any prescription medicine must be in its original bottle with current prescription and expect amount needed for camp in a Zip-Loc Bag with the Scouts name written on the bag. Epi-Pens and inhalers may be kept by the scout.
The final version will be emailed just before the boys leave for camp. The phone Tree will only be used for emergency or to announce return from camp, and will only be initiated by the Scoutmaster or Camp Director.
