Troop 42 strictly adheres to all BSA Safe Scouting policies, e.g., two-deep leadership.

Course programs are available through the Scatacook District, Connecticut Yankee Council, and the Westchester-Putnam Council, and some courses are available on-line through the Boy Scouts of America.
